This solution's been developed for multi functional sport facilities and for sports activities requiring ball rebound, elasticity and deformation to impacts. All the several references both in Italy and abroad are evidence of the great reliability of this system.
This model was developed in case the floor requires more stress capacity; we created a double spring layer structure to offer a higher level surface. This model is tested according the new standards set by EN 14904 and therefore certified for fire reaction and approved by FIBA, like all our products.

Brief Technical Description:
Sports floor consisting of continuous double layer made of plywood plates, settled on elastic mattress - top layer made of solid parquet elements, 22 mm thickness, pre-lacquered. Total thickness 61 mm.

Techical Description:
The main steps of making the sports floor model SONDRIO 2 are the following:

• Laying of polythylene sheet, 0,20 mm thickness, as anti-steam barrier on the concrete;
• Laying of PUR mattress, at right angle to the parquet elements,15 mm thickness, to make the floor uniformly flexible;
• Laying of the bottom spring layer consisting of continuous plywood plates, 12 mm thickness parallel to the parquet elements, and fixing of the plates to each other with staples;
• Laying of the upper layer consisting of continuous plywood plates, 12 mm thickness, at right angle to the parquet elements, and fixing of the plates with staples (to each other and to the bottom spring layer);
• Installation of the solid parquet elements 22 mm thickness (HEVEA RUBBER WOOD), onto the plywood plates, fixing with specific T-nails;
• Marking of basketball and volleyball courts with lines according the current regulations;
• If requested, installation of skirting board made of wood, with specific grooves for ventilation and connection to the existing floor with steel, aluminum or wooden thresholds.
