1. POLAND - Wroclaw Hala Ludowa portable floor model BORMIO 1000 mq. After the similarly rotund Raclawice Panorama, the vast Hala Ludowa is Wroclaw''s most famous building (although neither are the city''s prettiest!). Completed in 1913 by famous modernist Max Berg, the Centennial Hall, as it was then known, was built to commemorate the hundred anniversary of the Germans'' victory over Napolean at Leipzig. Now in Polish hands the renamed Hala Ludowa (People''s Hall) is one of Wroclaw''s most active cultural centres, playing host to all manner of concerts, exhibitions, sporting events and even the odd rave. You can read more about the Hala Ludowa in our feature-length article.
